Monkey Metric tells the story of a family of monkeys whose lives are in danger because of a vicious volcano eruption. Luckily, the bravest of the monkeys is aiming to solve this problem.

This is a very interesting logical game, meaning you will have to train your brain and deduce certain movements before you decide to take action.

The whole point of the game is to save the monkey family from the dangerous volcano, so everything you do is actually dictated by this one goal. The brave monkey that has decided to take the challenge and solve the problem is at your disposal and only does what you tell it; in a way, you are actually that brave little monkey.

In order to move around the metric playground you can use the arrow keys or the W, A, S and D keys. The game also includes some switches that are only activated when you press the space bar. Depending you how you decide to play, you will notice that some switches will have to be flicked and some will not, but you will see as you go along exactly how this aspect plays out.

Each level has a different play mode, meaning in some you will be flicking switches, in some you will move weights around in order to push certain buttons and in some you will have to cooperate with different creatures in order to reach your goal of winning that level. Take your time to logically deduce what you have to do and pay attention to your next step, as each level has a different key and you can only play it out in one way.

Once you get the hang of it, the game actually gets pretty nice and easy, because you will have already trained your brain to think in a certain way.
