ORLANDO, FL (July 18, 2016) – Over the weekend, employees from each of the Correct Craft family of companies volunteered their time to local charities during Correct Craft’s first “Weekend of Service.”

Correct Craft established this Weekend of Service to encourage each of the Correct Craft companies and their employees to serve their local communities. This created an opportunity for each company to support local charities that their employees are passionate about.

Projects completed over the Weekend of Service include:

  • Nautique and Correct Craft employees traveled to Boynton Beach, FL on Friday to serve at The Lord’s Place, a homeless shelter serving Palm Beach County for over three decades. Employees painted the inside of 17 apartments used to house the men going through a 12-month program to help end homelessness. They also painted parking lot lines and hosted a catered lunch for all the men and the staff at The Lord’s Place.

  • Bass Cat and Yar-Craft employees assisted in the Backpack Food 4 Kids program administered in their hometown of Mountain Home, Arkansas. This program provides Mountain Home school children nutritionally adequate weekend meals to help alleviate food insecurity and hunger. Employees helped pack backpacks with food, clothing, and personal hygiene products.

  • Aktion Parks’ employees organized food drives at both Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC) and Miami Watersports Complex (MWC). Food collected at OWC was delivered to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orlando. MWC collected food benefitting the Miami Rescue Mission.

  • Pleasurecraft Engine Group employees also hosted a food drive benefitting their local food pantry. Food was collected for “We Care” Chapin between June 20th and July 15th. Additionally, on Saturday July 16 Pleasurecraft employees volunteered their time with a local ministry, Good Works, helping families in the community with basic housing repair such as plumbing, bathroom repair, repairing holes in floors, porches, and steps.

  • Centurion and Supreme employees hosted a food drive benefitting the Merced County Food Bank. On Saturday, Centurion and Supreme employees held a clean up day at Lake Yosemite in Merced where they had also had a team giving first-time boat rides to children and families in the community.

  • SeaArk employees hosted a pool party/cookout for the children of Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home in Monticello, AR. This Home seeks to provide abused children a place of safety and security where they can grow physically, emotionally, academically and spiritually. The SeaArk employees cooked hamburgers for everyone with chips, drinks, and watermelon.

Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin stated, “I cannot begin to express how proud I am of our Correct Craft companies and employees for investing back in their communities.” Yeargin added, “Correct Craft has grown tremendously the past few years and it thrills me so see our new companies joining so willingly in the Correct Craft culture of service. Our team truly wants to make life better for others.”

MasterCraft Unveils New Innovations, Bow-to-Stern Upgrades on 2017 Models

Revolutionary Dockstar Handling System, Gen V Engines and ZFT7 Power Tower Headline New Features on 2017 Lineup

VONORE, Tenn. (July 5, 2016)MasterCraft (NASDAQ: MCFT) today introduced its 2017 model year boats, a power-packed lineup with new technologies, features and customizable options to fit every boating style. Decked out from bow-to-stern with innovative features and new styling treatments, The 2017 lineup of MasterCraft boats reflects the company’s ongoing pursuit to elevate the perfect day on the water.

The company has broadened its product line to cover the entire spectrum of recreational boating from affordable models perfect for families and first-time buyers to its iconic mainstays responsible for towing countless world records. The entry-level NXT Series offers MasterCraft quality and performance at entry-level pricing; the new XT Series deliver crossover do-it-all versatility without compromising performance; the award-winning X Series delivers specialized performance along with premium, luxury features; and the STAR Series showcases MasterCraft’s legendary, competition performance.

Leading the charge among the groundbreaking upgrades for 2017 is the new Dockstar Handling System, an innovative flanking rudder system that allows drivers of any ability level to easily maneuver tight spaces and crowded marinas in reverse. The revolutionary new technology essentially removes the last entry barrier into the inboard market for owners who previously preferred the handling of an outboard or stern drive configuration when driving in reverse.

MasterCraft boat owners can also choose from a wider selection of engine options, including General Motors new lineup of Gen V engines marinized by Ilmor Marine, the engineering team behind multiple Indy winners. The 5000 MPI V8 (5.7L) and 7000 MPI V8 (7.4L) models offer traditional multi-port injection for those who prefer maximum torque while Ilmor’s new 5500 GDI V8 (5.3L) and bigger, bolder 6000 GDI V8 (6.0L) models both utilize gasoline direct injection delivering the same power using less fuel. All of these power plants provide impressive horsepower and are exclusively available on MasterCraft boats.

New for 2017, consumers can further customize most MasterCraft models with either an enhanced ZFT4 or the all-new ZFT7 Power Tower, the latter now being available in countless configurations of colors, speaker layouts and vertical storage options. Owners can also upgrade most boat interiors to include MasterCraft’s new “Cool Feel” vinyl that stays cool to the touch even after extended exposure to direct sunlight.

Additional functional upgrades include optional docking lights on the XStar and X Series models consisting of six high output LED lights integrated into the bow rub rail for a low profile look while still casting a wide angle to light up the night. X Series owners can also opt for ergonomic, dealer-installed SeaDeck flooring for superior stain resistance and shock absorbance. MasterCraft’s boat trailers now also include the option of low profile wheels and colored runway lights.

The 2017 MasterCraft line will feature head-turning design and styling changes including new signature hiplines, a functionally reformatted dashboard, and new aluminum billet prominently incorporated throughout the entire boat. Boat owners can further customize their dreamboat thanks to a broadened palette of gel coats and flake colors ensuring a one-of-kind look.

MasterCraft continues to partner with the most trusted names in the industry to outfit its boats with best entertainment systems and accessories on the market. Murphy touch screens provide a seamless, intuitive dashboard control interface giving the driver complete command over the boat’s performance and all sound and lighting systems. MasterCraft collaborated with GoPro to offer built-in camera mounts and onboard viewing. New for 2017, MasterCraft teamed up with Alaska-based Cordova Coolers to custom-build a durable, high-quality ice chest that fits perfectly in all MasterCraft models.

Amazing still comes standard on all 2017 MasterCrafts boats, one of the only boat companies to use a grid liner system and hand-laid fiberglass resulting in 30% stronger hulls. MasterCraft uses Jabsco heavy-duty pumps to control each boat’s built-in ballast and the company’s award-winning Gen 2 Surf System is custom-machined to match each individual hull shape. All MasterCrafts come with ZeroOff GPS Cruise Control to ensure a smooth, consistent start and speed while towing.

Hand-built in MasterCraft’s U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Vonore, Tennessee, all MasterCraft boats are covered by MasterCraft’s industry-leading, five year bow-to-stern warranty. For more information on MasterCraft’s 2017 boat models, please visit www.mastercraft.com.

NWBS has been growing since the day they opened, thanks in large part to Supreme Boats which took them to a whole new level. With the addition of Centurion there are no limits to growing these two brands in the Portland area.

“Our 2016 boat show was the most successful show since 2006, selling nine Supremes and four Centurions in four days, with many more sold following the show! This will be a record year at our dealership for sure thanks to Centurion and Supreme,” stated McDonald.

JL Audio has unveiled a new, full-featured marine audio source unit. JL Audio

Las Vegas, NV—February 2016JL Audio, known for producing some of the finest audio systems in the marine, mobile, powersports, and home audio markets, has unveiled a new, full-featured marine audio source unit. The MediaMaster® MM100s marks JL Audio’s entry into this important product category and completes what is an already extensive lineup of high-end, marine audio products.

The MediaMaster® MM100s is purpose-built for marine duty, with marine-grade, weatherproof construction (IPX66 rated). This source unit is designed with advanced audio features, specifically tailored to marine applications.

JL Audio’s president, Andrew Oxenhorn said: “The MediaMaster is a very important product for us, as it creates an opportunity to build a full JL Audio marine sound system, from source unit to amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers. This is the high-end source unit our customers have been asking for, and we are thrilled to launch it in 2016.”

In keeping with its mission to offer a higher level of marine audio performance, JL Audio deleted the typical chip amplifiers used in most marine source units. Instead, the MM100s is equipped with audiophile-quality, preamp-level audio circuits, deployed in an 8-channel architecture with 4V RMS outputs. This design offers excellent system control flexibility in a wide range of marine audio system configurations:

· Main Audio Zone features bass, midrange, treble and balance controls.

· Audio Zone 2 is a full-range zone with independent bass, midrange, treble and balance controls, plus absolute or relative volume control.

· Audio Zone 3 can be assigned as a Subwoofer Zone or as a 3rd Full-Range Zone with independent bass, midrange, treble, balance controls, plus absolute or relative volume control.

· Audio Zone 4 is a fixed level zone

· Zones 1-3 feature a zero-clipping audio circuit design, with self-limiting tone controls to prevent speaker system damage.

The source functionality of the MM100s is designed for today’s modern media environment, and does not include traditional mechanical media formats. In addition to a built-in AM/FM/Weather Band tuner, the MM100s offers a wide range of connectivity options for external devices:

· Bluetooth® audio streaming with AptX® CODEC and full control of play/pause and track up/down functions.

· USB 2.0 direct-digital connection for an iPhone® or USB storage device.

· SiriusXMReady™: Connect to the SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit (sold separately, subscription required) to listen to commercial-free music; premier sports talk and live events; exclusive talk and entertainment; comedy; news; and up-to-the-minute traffic and weather.

· Analog auxiliary input for connection to a wide range of audio sources

· A NMEA 2K-compliant CAN bus is also on board to aid in connection to compatible marine electronics.

The physical design of the MM100s is carefully engineered to deliver excellent ergonomics in real marine applications:

· Intuitive interface with large text for easy legibility while in motion.

· Large buttons and control knob for ease of use in marine applications.

· High-brightness, full-color 3.5-inch LCD display offers Day/Night lighting modes with user-defined display brightness, button brightness, remote brightness and display themes.

· Optional MMR-20 round remote controls can be installed throughout the vessel if additional control points are needed.

JL Audio Executive VP, Jeff Scoon said: “The audio engineering team focused on making a better sounding head unit, the hardware team on making a classy looking product that could withstand real marine conditions, and the software team created a beautiful interface that works great on the water. We are extremely excited with the end result and can’t wait to get the MediaMaster into the market.”

The MediaMaster MM100s will be sold by JL Audio’s car audio and marine audio dealer base, and will also be incorporated into select new boats as original equipment.

Availability: March 2016 | U.S. MSRP: $549.99

Millington, Tenn. (Feb 11, 2016)Indmar Marine Engines, the worlds largest privately held manufacturer of gasoline inboard marine engines was honored today for innovative achievement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show during the State of the Recreational Boating Industry Breakfast, held this morning at the Rusty Pelican within it’s Biscayne Ballroom.

Organized by the NMMA and judged by BWI, the award recognizes innovative distinction from other products currently being manufactured that benefit the marine industry and consumers; they must be cost-effective; offer practicality; and are available to consumers within 60 days of award receipt.

So what have the innovative minds of Indmar Marine Engines done to receive yet another award this year? Indmar’s engineering team has developed a solution for their boat building partners and turned it into a market-winning product. They call it the Strainer Pro, the first sea strainer with a built-in flush kit. The Strainer Pro’s integrated and innovative design enables boat owners to protect their engine from debris and simplifies aquatic invasive species (AIS) flushing and maintenance with one product instead of two.

“When one of our boat building partners came to us because the stand alone brand sea strainer was loosing a significant amount of cooling water flow per minute and leaking air because of the design characteristics, I knew our team of talented engineers could build a better solution,” explains Jason Stimmel Vice President of Engineering. “Something we would be proud for our manufacturers to install on our engines or for consumers to install on any inboard marine engine as an aftermarket part. Consumers can purchase the Strainer Pro from one of Indmar’s 1,200 authorized dealers.”

As a result, Indmar’s engineering team found that by integrating the two products into one unit not only provided a practicality of use for boat owners but the two-in-one concept offered a space saving design that optimized flow dynamics, reduced potential leak points and water loss and offers a cost-effective solution at the OEM and consumer level.

“Our business can be quite complex,” said Chuck Rowe, President of Indmar Marine Engines. “However, when deconstructed, we can focus on each of the layers – client services, design technology, sustainability and an expanded product offering – so that we can successfully address the needs of today’s boat builder and boat owner.”

Let’s take a look at the design and how the Strainer Pro works.

The Strainer Pro’s space saving design optimizes flow dynamics and since there is one integrated unit instead of two, there are fewer potential leak points. Indmar also added an integrated O-ring to improve sealing capabilities and the units straight axial flow design enables water to flow more freely straight through the strainer and reduces flow loss which provides more water to be utilized by the engines cooling system.

Boat builders and consumers can easily and quickly install the technology on almost any inboard marine engine. The inlet fitting can be oriented 360° to best serve the consumers needs.

When it’s time to strain and flush the engine, the patent-pending, permanently mounted onboard system flushes the engine easily with just one garden hose connection. The in-line strainer allows for easier basket removal. In addition, the material selection allows for 140° hot water flush for AIS flushing and the clear housing design provides higher visibility and encourages the boat owner in proper usage.

The two-in-one system give’s boat owners the ability to extend the life expectancy of their engine, cleans the entire raw water-cooling circuit and adds protection when operating in lakes with heavy vegetation.

The Strainer Pro is available to Indmar’s boat-building partners and since the Strainer Pro can be oriented 360° and fit’s on almost any inboard marine engine, it is also available to consumers as an aftermarket part.

At the manufacturer level, Indmar’s boat building partners have been able to eliminate parts, which reduces the part numbers that have to be budgeted for, bought and stocked. Their OEM’s have also been able to reduce labor cost for installation. And for the consumer, at aftermarket level, the Strainer Pro has proven to be easier to install (time-savings) and consumers save additional money since they only have to purchase one part instead of two.
